I was recruited by a business-to-business company (names withheld) where the primary focus was on legal matters. My role was to serve as a UI Designer and Product Designer. Initially, our priority was to revamp and enhance user experiences across all existing products before delving into new initiatives.
The product design team and I were tasked with analyzing each project, gathering feedback from users and employees, and subsequently refining the flow and content visualization on the platform.
As part of this initiative, myself along with a senior designer and another product designer focused on enhancing the company's main product. We began by dissecting the program's final results to improve their readability, as they often proved cumbersome for users. Our solutions included integrating ChatGPT for summarizing user searches, incorporating maps and graphs, and introducing features for editing and highlighting text segments, among others.
Each iteration underwent rigorous user testing via prototypes. We meticulously documented all feedback received, even pertaining to the company's other products, and engaged in thorough discussions to implement necessary improvements
We made significant changes to the appearance, improved the flow, and prioritized user feedback throughout the process. Collaborating closely with developers, we identified and implemented strategies to minimize bugs. Through rigorous testing, we consistently observed that users preferred the updated flow and layout changes.
The platform underwent a remarkable transformation, becoming more sophisticated and gaining credibility while also standing out among competitors. Every aspect of the user experience was meticulously considered and improved across all applications, resulting in a seamless and enhanced user journey.
